Creative Glass Guild Summer Fair - June 3rd

Creative Glass Guild Summer Fair - June 3rd

Come and help James and Debbie celebrate 10 years at the helm of Creative Glass Guild in aid of Brandon Trust.

On Tuesday June 3rd we will be opening our studio doors and offering free taster sessions in Stained Glass, Glass Fusing, Sandblasting and Lampwork Bead-Making.

Visitors will benefit from a one-day only 30% shop discount, and there will be a barbeque and live music (to be confirmed).

Each taster session will be one hour long, and visitors are welcome to take part in one of each session. The first sessions will begin at 10:30am, and the last will begin at 4:00pm. When you arrive, there will be a stand at the front of the shop where you can sign up for individual sessions - you are not able to book in advance.

These are the times at which the taster sessions are scheduled to run (subject to change):

Stained Glass Taster Sessions - Make a Suncatcher (to take home!)

10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm

Fusing Taster Sessions - Build Our Splashback (Make a fused glass tile, we will then use all of them to build a splashback for our fusing room)

11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm

Sandblasting Taster Sessions - Sandblast a Tumbler (Create a design, sandblast it onto a glass and take it home!)

11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm

Lampwork Bead-Making Sessions - Make a Glass Bead (must be collected after firing)

10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm

Space is limited and we expect these tasters to fill up quickly, so please arrive early to avoid disapointment.

We will be collecting donations for our favoured charity Brandon Trust, who support people with learning disabilities in the UK. You can find out more about them here.

We're really excited to see you all here! If you have any questions, please email Catherine.
