Stringers, Noodles, Rods & Canes
Stringers are spaghetti-like strands of glass for kiln firing. The can be snapped easily by hand or shaped in a candle flame to create exciting line work.
Noodles are flat, fettuccini-like lengths. Snap or nip to the desired length - then use them as straight design lines or bend them in a flame.
Hot drawn rods are a key form in the glassworker's toolkit. Use in torch work, fusing, slumping, casting and for pickup in glass blowing. Specially annealed to minimize popping, and formulated for colour stability.
Twisted Canes are hand pulled rods, with patterns and colours consistent through the length of the cane. These canes can be incorporated into your fused glass work or used for beadmaking.
