Can I fuse and slump at the same time?

No. Fusing requires higher heat than slumping and should be done first, followed by a second firing.  Moulds arent as resilient as shelves and dont like such high heat which may cause them damage, you need less heat to shape or texture glass, and it will also control how much it flows over the mould.
