Glass Enamels Exploration with UGC’s Margot Clark

We are super excited to be welcoming UGC's Margot Clark back to Creative Glass Guild in 2020! Margot brings her unique decorative painting background into the art glass arena with her wonderful range of UGC enamels, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved decoratively and structurally on glass.

This three day masterclass covers a range of brand new projects which will allow those who already use these products to understand their potential more deeply, whilst also being accessible to beginners who have never used enamels before. These products are so versatile and easy to use, we have seen many a glass student begin to develop their own confidence and style using them.

The class will cover six main projects, offering opportunities to create beautiful, abstract designs as well as fine details. Pour, torch, tilt, drag, draw, paint and smash colour using a variety of high tech tools (toothpicks, straws, sticks, brushes, etc.). Projects include Tree Ring, Fish Duo, Red Poppy, Lines and Pour and Floral Smash. You will choose either a blue or yellow theme for a Butterfly Smash. Most projects will be started on day one, and then developed over the proceeding two days. Instructions for all projects will be provided with step-by-step colour photos for you to refer back to following the course.

There is an option to pay for this course in six interest free monthly installments of £82.50. Please email Catherine if you would like to book using this payment plan.
