Let's Get Fusing Monthly Course - Professional Development

This course is a follow-on course from Let's Get Fusing - Year 2. This course is currently only available to those already on the course, but there are likely to be a couple of openings. If you would like to take this course but aren't currently on a Let's Get Fusing course, please email helen@creativeglassguild.co.uk to register your interest and we will email you if a space becomes available.

This course is designed to help you build your confidence artistically, finding your voice and providing real help and assistance in finding your market and putting yourself in it. This course will provide opportunities to not only to consolidate what you’ve learnt on the course so far, but challenge you to make informed artistic decisions about how you use them.

This course will include a series of lectures and individual one-to-one assistance to put a professional plan in place, as well as intermittent introduction to new advanced techniques. You will be encouraged to submit to competitions and enter exhibitions while learning how to develop artistic concepts, conduct research, and find your place in context in the world of craft.

There will also be surprise challenges, encouraging you to think outside the box creatively and technically.
