Beetle Bits Glass Cutting System
The Beetle Bits Glass Cutting System by Cutters Mate aids in scoring angles and straight edges to create basic shapes or strips. Please note that this product is designed for use with the "Waffle Grid" surface and the "Flying Beetle Cutting Head" which are available to purchase separately on our website
This product was designed with the same principles as the Cutter’s Mate: simplicity, comfort and ease in scoring. The compass dial and rests, resembling beetles, provide ease of cutting from either side of the work surface, or a straight cut perpendicular from the base ruler.
The Beetles Bits Glass Cutting System includes:
- Oil well
- 2 adjustable-angle rests
- 1 stationary straight edge rest
- 1 swivelling rest functioning as the compass dial
- 2 multi directional glass stops
- 18" ruler
- 23" straight edge

Brilliant Cutter
By Lionel PearsonMy wife and I started to use larger pieces of glass. And also wanted more accurate cuts. We cut by hand now until this whole set came last week.
Once set up ( we used non slip matt under) we cut our larger COE90 glass including a colour that was a very
uneven glass that we managed to cut straight and to exact size.
We are looking forward to cutting squares and diamond shapes and experiment further with the cutter.
There are more expensive professional cutters on the market but this serves us well as fairly new to fused glass.
The cutter bit of a fiddle to set to glass thickness but will get used to it when using 2mm, 3mm or 6mm.
