Specially formulated for stained glass, fused glass and kiln-formed glass, this premium powdered enamel produces a full gloss, opaque finish that develops into a rich, earthy brown after high-temperature firing. Whether you're creating realistic nature scenes or traditional decorative panels, Brown provides dependable colour with a beautifully polished finish.
Brown is ideal for painting tree trunks, branches, woodland wildlife, horse coats, rustic cottages, timber beams, woven baskets, antique furniture and autumn landscapes. It also serves as an excellent shading colour when blended with other Reusche Hot Glass Series paints, helping artists create natural wood tones, rich chestnuts, warm terracottas and subtle shadows that add realism and dimension to stained glass designs.
Unlike pre-mixed enamels, Reusche Hot Glass Series paints give you complete control over your painting technique. Mix the powder with Gum Arabic and water or your preferred Reusche painting medium to achieve the perfect consistency for fine detailing, layered shading or bold areas of glossy colour. Because these are true glass enamels, the final gloss, opacity and colour develop during firing. We recommend firing a small sample on clear glass first to evaluate the finished result before completing larger stained glass or fused glass projects.
