Reusche Dark Blue Blendable Bending Colour - Low Lead Release
Add rich, deep blue tones to your kiln formed and slumped glass with Reusche Dark Blue Low Lead Release Blendable Bending Colour. Part of Reusche's professional Blendable Bending Colour range, this high gloss glass paint features a Low Lead Release formulation and is ideal for decorative kiln fired glass where lower firing temperatures are preferred.
Supplied as a fine powder, it can be mixed with Gum Arabic and water or a suitable Reusche painting medium to achieve the perfect consistency for brushing, lining and traditional glass painting techniques. It blends seamlessly with other colours in the Blendable Bending Colour range, making it easy to create lighter blues, dramatic shading and custom colour palettes.
Its lower firing range of 600°C to 630°C makes it an excellent choice for applying decoration after texture firing while helping preserve surface detail. As with many traditional glass paints, the final fired colour develops during firing, so testing a small sample on clear glass before beginning your project is recommended.
