Weller 200W Soldering Iron Spare Tip -201d
Spare tips for the Weller 201D/200W soldering iron. Please note this is for the large 200w Pro Iron.
Available in:
- 10mm No.7 - 700°F/370°C - recommended for Stained Glass (this tip comes as standard with all brand new Weller 200W soldering irons)
- 10mm No.8 - 800°F/430°C - recommended for Copper Foiling
- 7mm No.7 - 700°F/370°C - recommended for Stained Glass with a narrow tip for finer work
- 7mm No.8 - 800°F/430°C - recommended for Copper Foiling with a narrow tip for finer work
Lead free solder will cause 4-5 times accelerated corrosion of soldering iron tips, compared to regular lead based solder. Ensure you regularly use a tip tinning paste to prolong your tip's life and form a protective barrier but bear in mind that tips will corrode and deplete more quickly if you use lead free solder in your projects.
