Hakko Solder Tip Tinner Cleaning Paste

Hakko's very own chemical paste best suited for the removal of oxidation on soldering iron tips and for retinning soldering tips. An essential piece of kit for anyone soldering stained glass work.

How to use a Tip Tinner: A tip tinner must be used in conjunction with a wet sponge and a hot iron for best results. Aim to use a brass wire ball cleaner - which is a dry soldeing iron tip cleaner throughout the assembling of a project.  You then can 'tin' (clean and re-coat) with this tip tinner on a regular basis to prevent and remove the build up of black and dirty deposits on your soldering iron tip.

Tip: Do not replace lid once open as the heat from the soldering iron can cause the tin to expand.
