Wissmach 96: Black and Pearl Prisma

Please note that due to the nature of how this glass is made it is common for the glass to contain roll marks - please consider this may be a factor when designing your project. If using for fusing this will fire out.

Wissmach glass is well known for unique mixes of colours. The Prisma line is designed specifically for kiln forming and offers a glass that ranges from soft wisps of colour to more intense streaky combinations. The predominant colour in the mix is always the first listed. Each side of Prisma Glass has a unique pattern - doubling your design options. Prisma glass makes it easy to add colour and movement to your fused glass project.

Glass features wisps/swirls of black running through pearl.

Images shown are examples of some of the wide range of colours and patterns that may occur in your piece.

    Great for moody skies..
    By Sally Cartwright

Writing this some time after buying this glass as I loved the glass but wasn't sure what to use it for. Well I know now, wow it makes amazing moody evening skies! Now I have found what this glass is saying to me I am definitely going to be buying more sheets of this. Just gorgeous! I did find that it fired more or less what it looked like before, although some of the finer darker wispy bits went paler but the overall effect remained after firing.
