Lead Wire for Metal Casement Windows - 3mm - 500g
3mm (1/8") lead wire in a round profile for fixing leaded panels into metal casement windows. Lead wire is hammered flat at one end and soldered to the leaded light. This threads through pre-drilled holes in a metal casement and hammered flat on the outside to form a rivet. The window can then be sealed in place with putty, or more easily, with a modern exterior silicone adhesive, usually in black, such as Sikaflex.
