Silberschnitt Cut Running Pliers
Quality aluminium Silberschnitt cut-running pliers. Adjustable jaws can be rotated, so scores in glass can be run perpendicular to the score line. Rigid handles don't flex, so you have precise control over the pressure being applied.

Super control over curves
By David YeomansWOW. Cutting inner curves is tricky. The Silberschnitt running pliers give you much more control than standard pliers. Gently start the break at each end of the curved cut then rotate the jaws to put a break in the middle. The piece falls out easily. Watch Derek Hunt showing the technique on YouTube

Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Yes again, particularly if you are cutting lots of inner curves. I couldn't find them at a better price than here at Creative Glass Guild. - * * * * *02/09/2025
A worthy addition to your Christmas prezzie list
By M. WilsonThese cut running pliers look expensive, but they allow you to cut shapes that you'd struggle to cut any other way. They're great for tight inward curves and allow you to run scores sideways and at other angles as well as straight away from you. They do take a bit of getting used to though & you need to check which way the bar on the top is angled each time you use them. But once you master them, they're great.

Worth it!
By Paul DixWhilst you can make do very well with standard running pliers, the ability to rotate the pad on these makes them much more versatile and gives you lots more control.
Wish I’d gone straight for these in my initial setup!
