Level 2 Four-day Advanced Stained Glass Course
Have you made stained glass before? This Level 2 course is for stained glass makers looking to improve their skills, eradicate bad habits and give their work a professional flair. If you have tried leaded work but would like to expand your knowledge or tackle a larger project, this is the course for you. A four-day coaching session with the aim of giving you the confidence to tackle more complicated stained glass pieces.
What does the course cover?
If you'd like to make a door, window or larger stained glass panel but are lacking in confidence, our Teacher Karen Bosanquet will advise with regards to strengthening steel, refining cutting, leadwork and soldering skills. Bring your own design and measurements and build your own bespoke panel over four days. Discover the benefits of choosing different sizes of lead, learn how to cut challenging shapes and produce a technically sound and professional piece of glasswork.
When booking, please send a copy of your design and measurements to firstname.lastname@example.org as these need to be discussed with the teacher and approved before the start of the course. Your piece will need to be of a reasonable size with no more than about 25 pieces so that it can be built on a board. We encourage you to challenge yourself.

Note: This course involves working with lead, for safety reasons we recommend that pregnant women do not attend.
