Magne- Foiler improves speed and ease of foiling.
By JoAbsolutely love this foiler. I am hobby stain glass maker and have always struggled to get the foil evenly applied making me dread the task but this has changed that. I have been using it for 3 months off and on. I still don't always get it perfect every time but that is down to me not this machine! My foiling time has greatly reduced and I no longer dread the task. I have tried other foilers but couldn't get away with them spending more time setting up and wasting foil in the process that I had given up using them. This was clear and easy to set up. It handled larger pieces of glass with ease although I expected to possibly need to do small pieces by hand but it is able to manage those with ease too.

Changed the game!
By Michael MitchellHonestly blown away at how quick and easy this makes foiling! It also takes the pressure of trying to center it by hand all the way around. And the stick burnisher thing it comes with is also very handy. Once you figure where to start and how to navigate curves its just brilliant

An upgrade on the Diegel
By BethI'm relatively new to stained glass but I have arthritis and fatigue related issues in my hands, my husband also has finger tip sensation loss, I initially picked up a Diegel table foiler second hand and whilst it did help, it was mostly only helpful as a stabilised tape dispenser. It didn't help center onto the glass and often came off the side reels.
I saw the Magne Foiler came into stock at creative glass and whilst it isn't cheap, I'm struggling and saw it was highly recommended in Facebook groups and thought why not try.
It's a massive help, it centres onto the glass with ease, I don't have to spend time trimming fiddly overlapping as it always joins up to itself perfectly. The storage on the side of being able to keep 3 more rolls at hand is helpful. It's relatively easy to use, I've used it on heavily textured and smooth glass, all you need to do to adjust for the different thicknesses and textures is to just nudge the alignment once. Then each piece of glass that matches that will be foiled exactly the same, helping keep edges consistent throughout the project.
I'm really happy with it.
