Reusche Midnight Brown Hot Glass Series Glass Paint

Add dramatic depth and rich earthy character to your glass artwork with Reusche Midnight Brown Hot Glass Series Glass Paint. Developed for stained glass, fused glass and kiln-formed glass, this premium powdered enamel produces a full gloss, opaque finish that reveals a deep, luxurious brown after high-temperature firing. Ideal for creating strong contrast without the harshness of black, Midnight Brown brings warmth and sophistication to every design.

Midnight Brown is perfect for painting dark timber, weathered tree bark, horse manes, antlers, owls, woodland wildlife, vintage leather, architectural details and dramatic landscape silhouettes. It also excels at adding depth, contour and shadow to portraits and decorative glass panels. Blend it with other colours in the Reusche Hot Glass Series to create warm umbers, rich espresso tones and subtle transitions that give your artwork greater realism and dimension.

Unlike pre-mixed enamels, Reusche Hot Glass Series paints allow you to customise the viscosity to match your painting style. Mix the powder with Gum Arabic and water or your preferred Reusche painting medium for everything from fine detail work and controlled shading to smooth, glossy colour fills. Because these are true glass enamels, the final colour, opacity and gloss develop during firing. We recommend testing a small sample on clear glass first so you can evaluate the finished fired result before completing larger stained glass or fused glass projects.
